Crabapple Sugar Tyme

Introduced by Lake County Nursery, Sugartyme’™ is a glorious bloomer.

Red buds continue to come onto the plant as opening petals turn pink and then white.

You can have three colors on the tree at the same time.

One of the best looking blooms of all the apples.

The tree is an upright oval, spreading with age.

Leaves are crisp green turning dark red in fall.

As the leaves get ready to turn color in fall, the dark red fruit emerges. They persist all winter.

This is definitely a tree with four season interest.

This is a good tree to use under utility lines, and can be used on the street when lower branches are pruned up.

Grows to 18ft high and 15 ft wide

Growth rate: Moderate
