Paper Birch - Betula papyrifera.
USDA Zone 2-6; Height up to 60’ Spread 30’
Paper Birch trees like full sun to partial shade. The grow to form a road, dense, pyramidal form, with reddish bark turning bright white and exfoliating.
Paper Birch leaves are dark green, turning yellow in fall. They are adaptable to a wide variety of soil types, but they need consistently moist soils.
Paper Birch bark can be used for making birch
bark canoes.

Take the Silverwood Theme Park exit 446 towards Brunner Rd/ Bunco Rd.
Turn left on E Brunner Rd and go 1.6 mi
Turn right onto Clagstone Rd and go 2 miles.
Turn left on E Remington Rd and go .3 mi. Look for the big red pole barn on the left. 2786 E Remington Rd.
