Paper Birch trees like full sun to partial shade. The grow to form a road, dense, pyramidal form, with reddish bark turning bright white and exfoliating.
Paper Birch leaves are dark green, turning yellow in fall. They are adaptable to a wide variety of soil types, but they need consistently moist soils.
Paper Birch bark can be used for making birch
bark canoes.
